Project Summary

This database contains a collection of imaging and omic data reporting on triple negative breast cancer in both patients and patient derived xenografts (PDXs).

Figure 1 illustrates representative imaging data obtained for this project consisting of dynamic contrast enhanced MRI (DCE-MRI) and diffusion weighted MRI acquired before and during the course of a therapeutic regimen (docetaxel and carboplatin).

Left Panel: One parameter returned from DCE-MRI is Ktrans which is the volume transfer constant estimating tumor perfusion and vessel permeability; the left panel of each frame presents an example of a Ktrans map overlain on a corresponding anatomical image.

Right Panel: A second parameter returned from DW-MRI is the ADC or apparent diffusion coefficient of water which is a marker of tissue cellularity; the right panel of each frame presents an example of an ADC map overlain on a corresponding anatomical image.

The images are then analyzed in a number of quantitative image features as described on the Image Feature Summary tab. In addition, treatment response is computed according to RECIST criteria (human data) and tumor volume (animal data).
